Muskoka-Pine Island

The renovation of the property located on the Pine Island was extensive.  During the process, we stripped the existing structure to it's bare bones. The goal of the homeowners was to expand the size of the cottage for use as their summer retirement residence.They were interested in creating a warm, welcoming environment without sacrificing the cottage feel they loved.With that in mind, we kept the design very true to the original re-using both wood and stone where we could. You will notice the designer picked a warm pallet to aguement the rich tones of the wood. Great care was taken in the re-model of the kitchen/living room maintaining an open, airy feel and fantastic lake views. A truly wonderful project.
